Welcome to Mudhoney
Mudhoney is a boutique hair salon situated in the heart of Wardell, just 30 min from the hustle and bustle of Byron Bay and 10 min from Ballina.
In it’s most recent incarnation the salon has found a home in Mayley House Cottage and offers a relaxed, one on one salon experience with stylist and owner Jess Bowen. With over 27 years of industry experience, Jess offers tailor made services ranging from haircutting, with a specialisation in curly hair, to contemporary colouring techniques, which include structured applications such as semi and permanent global colour and creative highlighting.
To keep your hair healthy and luscious, Jess use industry leading products including Kèrastase, Kevin Murphy and L’oreal Paris to colour and care for your hair.
As with all her previous salons Jess has tastefully renovated the cottage by bringing a modern design aesthetic to create a light open space whilst working in harmony’s with the buildings original features. The salon also features a large veranda with seating overlooking the orchard where you can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or have the opportunity to get some work done.
